My name is Sarah Johnson. I am a graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Music Education. As well as a Berklee College of Music alumni with a diploma in songwriting. I come from a long line of guitar folk, and after showing an interest my dad bought me a guitar for Christmas of 2000. Being the music addict that I am, teaching myself how to play was fairly easy, and shortly there after I started writing songs. I’m no virtuoso, but I think I play with soul, and I mean what I say.

I like to think I am a jack of all trades musically. I am a classically trained singer and am capable of singing in many styles of music including: Classical music, Opera, Musical Theater, Blues, Jazz, Country, Pop and Folk. I am a music educator, a voice teacher and I play multiple instruments. I have written and performed background vocals, jingles, as well as countless solo work. I also write, record, arrange and produce music.

As I mentioned before, I am capable writing and performing many styles of music, but my personal style would be best described as: if Dave Matthews Band, Ani Difranco, Matchbox Twenty and Adam Sandler had a love child (impossible I know), I would be their baby.
